Revision as of 13:37, 3 January 2016
Grower: Kelly
Year: 2014, 2015
Accession: 94
Seed Source: Received from private donor. Was labelled as 'Lancia', but doesn't fit any of the descriptions for that tomato. More than likely a naturally occurring cross.
Comments:
2015 Excellent production, but ripening off the vine affected taste (slightly later than last year, so I saved seed from the earliest fruit). Will attempt growth in 2016 from some G1 seed (original in 2014) and some G2 seed (saved in 2015). Fruit displayed same characteristics in 2015, and production seemed to be even better. 2014 Soft, buttery flesh, sweet (almost fruity) rich flavour with a nice acidic gel to finish. One of the best flavoured pink tomatoes I've ever had.

History
- Received from a private donor that listed seeds as 'Lancia'.
- Kelly grew out seeds in 2014, and not fitting any descriptions of 'Lancia' or any other variety, determined it was a natural cross that occurred in that grower's plots.
