'Shapka Monomakha' ripe fruit, Sept 2019 ©Kelly

Grower: Kelly

Year: 2019

Accession: 344

Seed Source: Original seed from Dan & Val McMurray's collection. Received from Dan McMurray Community Seed Bank (Creston, BC)

Comments:

2019 Tall plant with wispy leaves, and fruit that aborted during heavy rains. Cool/wet weather definitely delayed ripening, but a really nice interesting flavour from the fruit fruit I got. Little juice, oxheart shaped with pink skin. Old seed might have hampered growth and production, so glad I was able to save some fresh stock to re-grow in another year.
