Tomato 'Moldovan Green' ripe fruit, August 2018.

Year: 2018

Accession: 258

Seed Source: Obtained from Seedy Sunday event exchange table (2014)

Comments:

2018 Fantastic variety! One of the earliest big-fruited varieties I've grown, and seems to grow and ripen quite quickly once it starts to flower. Really nice tart, but full, flavour. This is a new favourite of mine - great for shorter season climates, and doesn't seem to mind heat or variable temperatures. Big heavy fruit (some over 1lb), so caging or really strong staking is a must. Some radial cracking with uneven watering. 12-15lbs per plant.
