Tomato 'Yellow Pear'

Grower: Kelly

Year: 2007, 2009, 2014

Accession: 68

Seed Source: Seed bank stock. Original seed from Meighan, of New Westminster, BC (2007).

Comments:

2014 Excellent production of clusters of small, tart fruit with little sweetness. Keeps flowering and producing up until frost finally kills it off. 4lbs per plant.
2009

Large plant, definitely requires staking. Extremely high yielder of small pear-shaped yellow tomatoes, about 1.5" long. Seems to do very well in dry and hot conditions, no problems with cracking/splitting. Good flavour, a good mild acidity and sweet flavour.
