Comments:
2023 Quite a poor year for this one, I'm not convinced this is the true 'Black Plum' or some variant or cross-pollinated version. I may get fresh seed and do a grow out of those. These ones are very similar in size and shape to 'Yellow Pear', but black.

History
- Russian variety acquired by Seed Savers Exchange in the early 1990s from Marina Danilenko of Moscow, Russia. The original Russian name is not known, but it is very similar to several Russian varieties like De Barao Black and Black Mavr. Introduced by SSE in 1994.
