Comments:

2017
2016 Crop failure.
2015 This plant came up of its own accord in my garden in 2015. It grew up between where a 'Chocolate Stripes' and a 'Yellow Pear' had grown, and fruit displayed characteristics like nothing I had grown in the previous two years in the garden. Really nice, rich soft flavour, must be a shorter season since it sprouted on its own in May and was still ready to harvest within about 131 days of sprouting. Must be pretty hearty to put up with the weather we had. I pruned it back pretty heavily, but when I noticed the fruit was unique let them grow. Saved seed in 2015 to re-grow in 2016.
