Comments:
2014 An awesome workhorse tomato - is excellent for fresh eating and preservation and sauces. Classic tomatoey flavour, and well rounded sweetness with some acidity. Didn't produce as well for me this year as it did five years ago, but that may be due to my poor positioning of the plant, causing it to be overcrowded. I had smaller fruit this year, but more of them than when grown in previous years. 6lb per plant. 2009 Good sized 10-14oz fruit. Excellent flavour, very meaty. Good for canning as well. Does well in high heat with water restrictions, only a bit of cracking. Your classic looking tomato. Needs heavy staking to accommodate the large fruit. 5.5lb/plant.
