Potting Up

It’s amazing what a few days difference makes in the life of a seed start (see previous post for a photo from 12 days ago).

I love the variation of tomatoes you can see even when they’re this small. Big, small, regular leaf, potato leaf, wispy leaves or stout leaves. And the smell! I look forward to that smell all year. There is nothing better than when those leaves start to emit their fragrance. More than rain, more than greening grass, more than tree buds or even when my bulbs come up. That smell to me means spring is here.

Time to pot up these beauties.
