Comments:

2010 Small, ping pong sized fruit, approximately 1.5" in diameter. Very light yellow fruit with a slight fuzz on its skin. Very sweet with low acidity. Moderate production (heat might be a factor in low production).

History

  • Originated in 1890 by Elbert S. Carman, it was then known as White Peach. Seed was given to Dennis Schlicht by a studen, who renamed it after the Wapsipinicon River in Iowa.
